Post stock motor

what would be a good teambr00d stock motor to run in a 1/10 scale oval pan car on a flat asphalt oval running nascar style bodies?

Probably the Monster or ROAR stock based motor will be good. Just go a touch lighter on the springs. Just shoot EddieO an email and tell him what you will be using it for. It can be tuned for your type of racing.

I ran the Pro Mod class yesterday in the OC Circuit Toys 4 Tots race. I could not believe the top end I had with the br00d V2 8x1 I was running. Not a car on the track had more speed. I made the wrong tire choice for the cold asphalt and paid for it in the main but I still couldn't believe the speed the car had as well as the efficiency. 90-120 sec left on my pack after each run and 3 runs out of a set of Sprints with just a single pass light skim on the comm for the main.

I finally get to run my V2 today with no chance of rain, since I'm running indoors. I'll let you guys know how this monster roars.

On the V2 I know Peak/Orion runs a "Spashett" arm. I saw Hara's at the Portland Nats....whats the info on those and do you replicate something that works like that?

Thanks

Jeff

Kerry, your order shipped....

As for the Grooved orion arms, we are working on it....its kinda complicated to not spilt the crap out of the stacks....and even then, it still shorts out an arm every so often.

I am guessing sometime after the first of the year, we will have some available and hopefully the new comm tab heatsink ring....
