EA batteries from Vegas are still killing them out here in CA. Qualified 2nd and won in 19 turn. Some racers had new cells that they built at the track but didn't run any faster than I did. I wonder what would have happened if I hit the track with fresh EA power

EA or anyone-I got a guy who says all three of my packs I sold him went bad (Vegas IB4200WC's) and I dont believe him as they ripped at the Halloween Classic then got stored with 1500mah and shipped. He uses a Duratrax Ice charger. He says they dumped at 3 inutes and his non zapped, unmatched IB 3600's kill these packs. I dont think hes a scumbag at all-I'll even refund him, but I want to make sure he doesnt have his charger set-up all fubar.

Can you tell me the proper settings for an Ice charger so I can diagnose whats-up?

without knowing his methods it's hard to say. You know how you took care of your packs so you know they were up to par. Maybe his charger setting are to blame. Who knows? Have him send the packs back and if they look fried or over charged in ant way then there's your answer. Get a little more info from him.

Default Brushes

EA, or anyone else that can anserw.

On EA website, there alot of differnet brushes listed. Can anyone explain what the differneces of the listed ones?

E and F Brush, 767s and the XXXs.

I run EA Monsters and CO27s in novice stock class. Just trying to learn more about motor tuning etc, starting with the brushes.

E brush, little more RPM decent power..

F brush, lots of power lots of rpm best one of all

767, old faithful..always makes decent power little less RPM than the E

xxx, more torque seems to require a little more gear than the others
also great for 19t doesnt seem to burn up as quick.

most popular though seems to be the f brush, its what EA puts in all our motors at the big races as well as most other motor builders out there.

hope this helps

Thanks MO for the reply. That helps but I was also wondering about the actual compounds. What are they made of? If there is a better forum or website that lists that information please let me know.

Yes if Money is an object then I would go with the Orion. If money is no object the new Team Hard lathe that Trinity is importing is the best out there. I have one of those as well that will now be my lathe of choice. Its one of the best built lathes I have had my hands on and is the easiest lathe I have had to use.
