Just brought an EA Monster Stock to have a go at 27T.
My question is what`s a good gear ratio to start with in my TC3 i`m thinking around 6.5 to 7.0ish, the tracks layed out on two netball courts and changes meet to meet.

Hey Guys,
Just got home from the Paved Oval nats. I leave Tuesday for the On road Nats so orders after tuesday wont be shipped till I get home the following Tuesday.
I updated the site with products. Factory Team Packs are now 1.180+ at 35 amps and Team packs are up to 1.179 at 35 amps.
Reedy quad magnet 19 turns are in stock and ready to ship.
Jaco tires are in stock and ready to ship.
More to come when I return!!

I would try 7.0-7.2 you wil lbe safe there...If it starts to lag on the strait...go up a tooth...if it is fine on the strait and it is gettign too hot then drop a tooth...It isn't a perfect science but it does take a few runs to get the pefect gear ratio....

Taking a little off the edges reduced the overlap which drops the timing a little. I will take away RPM but will add torque, watts and eff. To give an idea how much to take the width of a comm slot on the comm is 2 degrees. So if you took that width off each side you would be running a 20 degree stock motor!! But it will have tons of rip!! The higher the timing the more rpm and ampdraw you have.

Wher you say taking a bit off of each side.... you mean each brush or each side on both brushes? I am not sure but I think is take a bit off of one side of each brush, please correct me if I am wrong. Do you scrap a bit off of the trailing edge or of the leading edge of the brush, and would that be the same amount for both brushes?

yes the same both sides ,
you don`t need to take loads off to make a difference
i use a finger nail file ,the serrations on this is not to vicous

I believe it's the Competition Electronic's Dyno which is no longer made now , But is considered by many to be the best Dyno ever made and the "ONLY" one really worth considering if your serious about it.

How does the Atlas 19T compare to the Trinity C2? The local fast guy at our track was running one the other night and it seemed ballistic.

Which EA motor do you guys prefer in indoor carpet racing 19 turn?
I just picked up a C2 based 19 turn with f brushes today, can`t wait to try it. It stands EAM 2003 C2 on top of the case, does that means that the motor is from 2003????
