Leaving for airport now. I heard Flacks lost all their R/C stuff in Detroit but it should get back to them.
If my stuff is lost, I understand Haynes has agreed to give me all his stuff to use...what a super nice guy!!!
Motors are FANTASTICO! All but a few have really REALLY good numbers. Those few will be sold to new Surge driver Ray Seebaugh in WV.

Car Show!!!!
In case there is anyone not at the nats. There is a great place you can head this weekend. The Middletown Motorsports Show is being held at the Orange County Fairgrounds in Middletown, NY. There will be a variety of cars EDM"S, Sprints Karts and Street Stocks. It is a great show with a lot of neat stuff. Dirtrunners will have a booth set up to promote R/C racing. Stop by and say hello.....WAYNE

carpet nat's
I would like to extend my thanks to TEAM SURGE for the assistance at the nat's. Although it was a complete wash, we still learned some valuable lessons. The ATLAS motors were rocking. The NEW cells were intense. But the event was regretful I would have been happier running a club race instead. But oh well, sun cant shine everyday.
Gary, I am very sorry again for any of the reprecussions my actions may bring.
Mike, thanks for the tunning.

What a LONG 4 days that was!! I'm glad to be back home... Overall the nats were fun. The guys did pretty well, but I left mid-afternoon so reports are still coming as to the final results.
The Atlas motor in 19t proved itself a very worthy opponent, propelled Mike Collins into a 4th place finish in B-main 19t touring, Mike Haynes into a 1st place finish in the C-main 19t touring. 34 was the number needed to get in the A, I think Mike would have had it, but the traffic in his last qualifer didn't help and hung him up a bit so instead he ran a fast 33..
The Surge batteries were running fast, and the Revalation system processed cells ran very stong. After peering into the cars in line for tech after the A mains, it seemed that we were one of the few matchers who had cells that were baseline 1.19's (with D/Sing).. most of the numbers I saw were mid 1.18's, a few sets of higher 1.18's and of course the mystery packs (With no labels or the numbers blacked out) That makes me feel like were heading in the right direction with the new voltage enhancement system.
I'll post some more later...

Seriously--Gary was all about making the team guys go fast...He did a lot of sacrificing on his part for the good of the team.
