shame as I loved my orca esc but the r32x s seems something going on and in 20 years of racing never had this problem....
believe me... you’re NOT the only one having this issue...

I did not think I would be just like someone to say it official as getting fobbed off by the shop saying I am the only one having problems
And what orca are going to do as this was a 2nd version on the esc seems they messed up

I think I’m on the same boat. First of all, I had my r32x serviced once before and had to pay for a replacement board. It ran good for a 5 months and only had to replace a sensor wire. Last week, I put a new blitreme 13.5 motor and ran good for 5 battery packs with no timing. Just stock. I watched my motor temps and kept it below 100 celcius at 5-8 minute gets runs. Decided to try 10 minutes. Pulled it back to the pit and the ESC started smoking. Unplugged it immediately. I knew the esc was toast after that. Checked my wiring and it was good, but the sensor wire was melted. Pulled out my backup Orion r10 esc to check the motor that day and ran good. Today(5 days later), I realized that my motor may have been fried too. It runs, but immediately brakes when I release the throttle. When I hand spin the motor wheel it doesn’t spin freely compared to my other orca rt 13.5 motor. I test drove it in my house and felt like I had 95% drag brake(my esc has 0 drag brake). I put back the old motor and it works perfectly fine. Sigh. Just when I thought I had the best stuff, I have to resort to my backups. If ORCA tries to charge me for a replacement, I’m going to deny and switch to another brand. I’ve spent way too much money in so little time. By the way, I live in Taiwan. ORCA is made here. Service is very fast. One reason I chose them.

I'm gonna try to squeeze more speed out of this.

I'm trying to find what value: low, middle or high for cutoff; what value do I choose for the orca LCG esc?

Default Vritra vxx fan connector

Hi there,

Does anybody know the name of the little white fan connector that the vritra vxx esc uses? Or where to buy them?

I have a perfectly fine vritra vxx but I accidentally destroyed its fan's connector. The fan is perfectly fine and I do not want to replace it as it is a very pretty aluminium one.

thanks

I recently picked up a couple R32Xs from a former sponsored driver.

Finally got around to installing one of them in my MOD Touring car. (Shout out to team driver Brad Borneill) who I had give them a look over.
He Updated the latest Firmware and gave my ESC a basic MOD profile. My first real experience using the ESC and in a Mod touring car is no joke.

All I can say is WOW! It was a small heat and my first time racing Mod on outdoor. My R32X was paired with a Reedy 5.0 motor, Underpowered (surprisingly) to some of the other cars, but on the back straight, Well over 100 ft long, my car was able to pull on both cars. I was able to make up significant ground on the other lead cars and never have I felt that kind of pickup from another ESC. Even after the race, another driver commented how much acceleration my car had. SUPER stoked to have this under the hood of my onroad car.

Now to get my 2nd R32 installed in my Offroad buggy and test it.

Def, has me re-thinking future esc choices. So far, the R32X is exceeding expectations.
