Hi Guys,
I just wanted to drop a note to say that over the past 8 months, my father and I have been developing a new platform for the tc4/tc3 touring car. It is completely different, suspension and quality wise. The chassis's for this prototype testing were provided by Jason at BMI, who we would like to thank in helping us get the final chassis's ready for this upcoming season. We started prototyping with Jasons Original TC4 chassis, and found out that the new weight bias he was using in the chassis worked very good. So we made a few minor modifications to make our suspension work with what was there.
Jason has been a huge help in the department of prototyping. The QUALITY of Jasons work is second to none. TOP NOTCH!!!! MANY THANKS AGAIN!!!
So here goes.......
Sobottka Racing Developments will be the company, hence my dad. We have been working very hard to provide a new style platform. We will release more info when the time is ready.

Stephen:
Hi,
I was lucky enough to room next to Stephen and his Dad at Cleveland. I had the car that they have designed in my hands. it's beautiful and it totally rips up the track too. they really did they're home work on it. Jason did a awesome job on the chassis Mr Sobottka did a beautafull job machining the alumnium parts. I was more than impressed. and Stephen could wheel the he## out of it and it just plain looked steady, smooth and easy to drive. they have a real winner on their hands with this car.
to Stephen and his Dad......
Thanks.
Howard:
...........shame on you for not sharing with Jon. always hoggin' the cool stuff........
Thanks

Jason: I am sure you are very busy with other projects but, any update on the TC4 motor mount?

I will tell you that the motor mount is worth the wait. Havent stripped a single gear since. It is lighter as well. You just have to be very patient and shim everything correctly because AE's gear boxes are all a little different. Someone wise once told me this secret Once you get it shimmed up perfect you will be supa happy

TC4 Conversion
I just noticed last night while checking the settings on my BMI TC4 that there seems to be no droop available. I set the chassis on my droop gauge and it measures at like 7 or 8. The arms will not drop below horizontal on their own. Did I miss something in the conversion or is this normal?

you missed something. pull the shocks off and check your droop then. if its still goofy then you know its in the chassis. if its correct then go over your shocks. I run 4mm in the back and 5mm in the front (on the AE guage) I am going to start measuring it by how many mm over ride height though as soon as I feel comfortable doing it.
