The only time I cycle my packs is maybe every 5-6 weeks to check the numbers on the GFX. There's no benefit to just cycling them on a charger other than taking one more run off their life. Treating the GP3300 is pretty simple as long as it's done consistently. I only run my packs once in a day but twice is OK if needed. Before the first charge of the day, put the packs on a discharge tray with a .9v per cell voltage cutoff to equalize the packs. The Novak Smart Tray and Rayspeed tray are the best two IMO. The first couple cycles you'll notice maybe a little flat on the track but they should pick up considerably after that. I charge the packs at 5-6 amps, depending on the class I'm running. (5 for mod 6 for 19 turn. If you're running stock you can do 6 or possibly as high as 6.5 amps. But remember the higher charge rate, the less runtime and the more you're abusing your cells.) Try and have them peak right before the race. Delta peak will need to be adjusted for the conditions you're charging in. Start with a 30mv and check the temp of the cells. They should be around 130F. If they're too hot, back it off, if they're too cool, bump it up. Generally the colder it is outside, the higher the delta you'll need. DO NOT put the packs on a fan during charging. This can cause false peaking or over charging. You should never force cool your cells. Even after a run. After the run, discharge the pack down to 5.4v, preferably at 20-30 amps on a discharger and let the pack cool before storing like that. No need to equalize after the run.

Hi all
I did e-mail Fukuyama, but obviously I understand they were busy getting ready for the Birds.
Basically I was wondering if they are going to do the 3700 or 3600 cells? And which would you recommend for Stock Touring and 1:12th 4 cell 19t and mod on-road (yes I know this may not be the same)
Many thanks for any advice

nnick- most orders ship out same day or the next business day as long as the cells you ordered are in stock.
