markt311: recommend charging at 1C. I have charged them at 6amps with no issues, but over time may diminish the life of the battery. Very good packs!

So...whats been up with Murfdogg? He hasn't been on Rctech for almost 8 months. I emailed him a week ago inquiring about his motors... but, no response. I've been trying to see how these motors have been performing for people recently.. but, doesn't sound like people are running his motors any longer soo no responses. I really want to give these motors a chance..and like the idea of supporting a small company...but, I'm not sure what to think anymore..

Ethan,
Just sent him a txt about you attempting to contact him for Murfdogg products. I am sure you tried his [email protected] email, but wanted to ensure you had it. Matt gets pretty busy between builing motors, shipping products, and racing..I am sure he will get to your email, you wouldn't be dissapointed with Murfdogg Products!

The team is still here and as fast as ever. Like Jason said sometimes it gets a little busy. Motors are some of the toughest around. I have had a 6.5 I have run in a 4wSC, 2wSC, two different 2w buggies , and two different 4w buggies in the past couple years and the motor is a strong as ever. The rotor never replaced (still has that new rotor bump to it) only replaced the bearings a couple times.

I never have to worry about being fast enough with Murfdogg motors.

Amazing customer service. I have an older blue can 17.5 that took a shot during a race and broke the sensor board. Emailed Matt and he just sent a new one "pro bono" and got it within a couple days. Can't ask for anymore than that! Thanks again!

Very, very pleased with initial runs using a new 17.5T Murfdogg Synergy Motor today. Easily compares and/or surpasses performance of other top manufacturer brands! Can't wait to get more time on this motor to see it's full potential!!!
Thanks Matt!

Wanted to provide an update on the newest version of the 17.5T Murfdogg Synergy Motor after two Stock TC Sedan races. It is out performing top competitor brands on the track with superior bottom and top end power, and enabling back to back A-Main wins! Currently using the HT Rotor and gearing between 3.62-3.65 FDR on a large outdoor asphalt track. Testing on a indoor carpet track required approximately a 3.8 FDR. Smaller amounts of endbell timing can be added to increase top end to meet longer straightaway needs (+5 to +10*).
Thanks Matt, for providing the best motors and products to compete at the highest levels of RC racing!

Qualified and finished 2nd at the ROAR Region 2 Series leg 2 @ Jackson RC this saturday with the new Synergy 17.5 motor. Motor had great power, and ran cool all day in hot weather that saw many big name brand motors let the magic smoke out. Thanks to Jason and Matt, and looking forward to using these motors in the future!
