Jochim_18: Had this happen on a Blue can motor once and I used some epoxy on screw, reinstalled and worked fantastic. Would recommend sending Matt a 'pm' to determine a good course of action to take for permanent fix.
jdg_rit: That is awesome!!!! Cangrat's and keep up the great racing!!!

Hey guys I was wondering if there was any difference between these 2 black murfdogg 17.5 motors, I know they have different solder tabs but is there a difference in performance or anything? Does one benefit from the other?

The second one I believe is the same as the original blue cans but just in black

Hopefully I can find this out as soon as possible, I tried searching but cant seem to find much.

Thank you!

Sorry I meant the 1st one. I think its a bit better overall, more power, etc. That's the one I use and its ridiculous.

I use both versions. The one that says 1.1 (first link) is the newest version and have had great success with both. The 1.1 design seems to be structurally better and is the one I prefer to use.

Awesome! I'm looking to learn again...while I drive the buggy at 17.5 for a bit.
I was on the site earlier and had a hard time finding prices...
What does a 10.5 or 8.5 come in at?

Holding the pack with the terminals toward you; Negative is right and Positive is left.
