I thought I'd mention that you do not have to be
a member of the Banzai team to post your condolences to
the James family. And I thank you to all who have posted.
Anyone who has known Bob or just wants to send their
message to the family we encourage you to post.
I will be making a copy of all these messages for the family
to keep and read in the days to come.
They have been a comfort to me and all those who love Bob.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Bob's Friends and Family. Always sad when fellow racers go before their time. The race sounds like a great way to honor a racer. We too have a memorial race here in the NW for a fallen fellow racer. Its a popular and well celebrated event.
Keep your heads up.

I have been out of the loop for a while but finally got back online. I am so sad to hear about Bob...I love that guy. My thoughts and prayers go to the James family and all those that know them. He will be dearly missed and I am sure he is in a great place smiling at all of us.

Our prayers go out for the James' Family From down here is S.D. We had a moment to talk about how Great a person Bob always is to be around at the races... He will be missed a lot by some of those down here that got the chance to know him.
Race in Peace Bob...

As I posted in the Pegasus thread, Bob was the one guy you ALWAYS expected to see at the track. I will miss the guy who would come up behind me at the track and say "What's up" in his low voice and the guy who would call me on my cell and say "what are you doing" which I would answer "talking to you Bob". It's still hard to believe..................
Ryan--To you and your family I send our blessings. Your dad was a great man and made me a better person just for knowing him...................

Keith and Bisbee- I am pretty he did that to everyone, but you can really tell if he liked you when he would say, Whats up Bitch!! That rings in my head all the time, I miss that man terribly.

There are quite a few people who do not read the forums
and others who may not be able to attend the services
that might like to speak at the race. We have all been
fortunate to express our grief here, on the phone, and
by emails. Others may need to do that at the race.
Robert has asked
that you contact him, and I will tell others to call Robert.
The number for OCRC is: 714-892-6699, ask for Robert.
I'm sure Robert will do a great job of allowing any one who
wishes to share a story, or just express their feelings to speak.
Also, one of our own that is serving in a war-zone, Drew,
sends his condolences to the family and friends.

There is a great picture of Bob and the Grand-Baby he loved
so much posted on the OCRC thread.
I don't know how to do it or I'd post it here too if I knew how!
