Just got home from the Truck Race, it was fun, but i had a little bit of bad luck. I ran a 10.5 in the open mod class and i never felt like i was at a disadvantage because of my motor.

I have a 6.5 with only 1 run on it that i would like to sell if anyone is interested, just send me a PM. It felt great on the track, but it was a bit to much motor for me.

Thanks to Scott and the rest of the Banzai Nation for the help this weekend, and ill see ya around at club racing.

Puddle- We were running similar finals. I was at 5.12 running nimh but with the lipo I felt I could go 4.83 (up two teeth). With the car 200g lighter I could go up a couple teeth.

Just started running the 13.5 I think my sensor wire went bad but the motor came off cool running 5.89 FDR. (it was only 120) so I feel safe going up some more. It was only the third run on the motor though so I have some more testing to do. I had to do some tweaking with the spur gears though. (30/68)

I will figure it out soon enough!

Wow Puddle, way to go. Big Thanks to all the boys Down Under

I did a little testing this weekend with the 13.5 The Old Dudes were allowed to run 10.5's, but after being scolded by Fez, about being out of control we decided to run a 13.5. It ran great and I ended up at a 30/78 in a T4. 6.75 FDR. I did not give up much, if any at all, againist the 10.5s. I to will have to do some more testing, but the first test was good

I need to measure some tires to see how we compare FDR tranny rations to totally roll out. The 13.5 was fast at ocrc. Can't wait to get some more testing on it.

I'll post some results on the Reedy later. I want to thank all the Banzai drivers for a great effort and not giving up. We might not have come home with the exact results that we wanted but it was not for the lack of effort TEN

i ran mine at crcrc this weekend at 31/78 on my losi buggy. motor came off at 109 and speedo at 107 without the fan. geared it up another tooth but my nimhs are on their last leg . had hard time getting them to charge , they only set a week . but they are 4200 wc's. and they wouldnt cooperate. i got out my 3800's they been sitting for a year and they charged up after cycling them once. i finished fourth. now i just have to be patient for my xmas bonus to get some lipos , i just didnt have the voltage to get in the 19 second range but did run some 20.0 s. on my losi the fdr figures out to 6.11 , maybe not enough gear yet , till i get lipos bought i will leave it alone. i prolly could have set my drrs up also had it at four. next weekend i 'll set it to five .

If your batteries are not strong turning up the DRRS may not have much of an effect as basically this is like a current limiting setting. Lower numbers are more current limiting, higher numbers are less current limiting. IF you batteries are old with higher resistance they may already be putting out what they got. Just a heads up if you don't see much of a change. Also high DRRS settings can make the motor feel like a switch.

Totally agree. I was bang on the weight limit after 5 mins. Those LiPO's drop 5-10grams after a 5-10min race, so something to be careful of.

My motors were cold after 6.5mins racing. I could have really had another tooth or two on it but I was happy with the car, had enough legs down the straight as it was... I started with a 32 on it in qual's and went to a 33 in finals...

Considering it held the fastest lap around the track in 2wd stock for the weekend, it was damn quick for a 2wd.

Go Banzai Brushless!!
