Great weekend for team Banzai. I know I saw a couple good wins and lots of strong results. I stepped up and strapped in a 6.5 in my 4wd for this larger track. Had some "issues" in qualifying but was able to bump from the C to the A and finish 4th overall. The motor ran awsome. I think I can become a fan of this BL stuff in mod! Thanks the continued support from team Banzai this weekend. Could not do it without you guys. Thanks to Craig Turner for the help unloading in the morning and turn marshalling for me. Congrats to Cody Turner on the big win on his B'day!

I know mom will post the rest of the results later after she has her pot of coffee!

I have a correction to my previous post. For shootout Jimmy is requiring ROAR legal motors since it is a national's warm up. JBRL and other stuff he does, bushing machine wound fixed 24 deg timing motors are all that is required.

GOOD MORNING BANZAI NATION!!!!!!!!!!! I have only had 1/2
a pot of coffee, so any mistakes, I will correct through-out the
day. Scott had the other 1/2, he's sick, but managed to pull
through the entire race yesterday!!

We had some "EPIC" battles and the team managed
to pull off some great wins, and some really awesome racing!

Casper, my "wounded" warrior bumped from the "C" to the "B"
all the way to the "A" !!! What an effort he put in!

Chuck Fowler battled to the finish line and ended up 2nd, but
the "Old Dude" gave these kids a run for their money! Scott
said he had never seen Chuck drive like that! It was great!

Cody Turner, our Birthday boy, and as Jeremy said calling
Cody's race, we may be witnessing the "next generation"
of guys ready to claim their spots!!

Jake McGarvey, pulled it all together, and did what we all
knew he could do and we were waiting for, he WON!
Yes, Jake, I was "tickled pink" !!

Alex Alvarez just keeps getting better with every race.
Another TQ for Alex and great finish!

I'll think of more great moments as the day goes on, now
on to the results!!!

Great results guys!!!! Thanks for keeping track and posting all the BANZAI results mom. I will post full results when I get them from Jimmy.

For what it is worth I am feeling pretty good today. Each day is much better! I just hope Ryan feels better soon. He was pretty misurable with some type of stomach issue by the end of the day. He was a trooper though and put in some good runs in the mains. The 2wd break was a freak thing. Pulled a balls stud out of the steering rack!

Also Thanks to Ryan for putting my car back together after I broke in the "C" 4wd warm up. Could not have done all the bumping without his extrodinary effort to get my car back together again!

i dont even want to talk bout my weekend :/

the biggest upset about it was in the Ex. Buggy A main i was running 3rd with 4th and 5th both less then half a second behind me for almost 2 WHOLE laps(laps were VERY long) when a turn marshal stepped on my car trying to get out of the way of the leaders cars :/ But I know all three of us had an AMAZING battle cuz when my car got stepped on the whole crowd when Awhhhhhhhh...and I went from third to last just like that...but that just shows how great the Ex. Class is, one crash or taking a corner to wide and you just fall back! So all in all this year is a great learning experience for me!

Well I ordered a set from AZ that will be here Thursday or so. The shipping to get them here before the weekend cost about as much as one shock.
