It was misting at my house in Orange this morning it was dry from Seal Beach to Redondo on my commute. It did not look like any serious rain came through though.

Yeah, it *is* getting cooler here, but I was home in W. Covina this last weekend for a family function and it was waaaay cooler. hehe. The rain's supposed to be coming in this weekend, which could send the temps plummeting into the high 80's. *gasp* But typically, it doesn't get genuinely cool for about another month.

Hopefully next year's Cactus will be a little cooler than this year's.

The other night I was reading the forum and I noticed

the Google ads surrounding our forum had ads I had never

seen before. I clicked on them, and they were VERY

INAPPROPRIATE for a site that is supposed to be about

R/C racing, with tons of kids on this site. Scott and I

continued to monitor the ads as they changed.

We emailed Shane, the owner of R/C Tech and expressed

our "dismay", never did hear back. Our point is, if we wanted

to pay for a forum about R/C racing on a, shall we say,

"men's" site, we would do so. You all are free to visit any

site you wish to, but this site isn't the place for that kind of stuff,

and believe me, I'm no prude, just not appropriate here.

I'm telling you all this now because I can't monitor this site

24 hrs. a day and this morning I saw several dating service ads,

which look harmless, but that's how it started the other night.

If you see something that you do NOT approve of, please email

Shane. I realize YOU may approve of the site links,

BUT remember we have a lot of kids on this site.

We have NO control over the Google ads, so please don't complain

I'm not sure if it's "tomorrow" in Australia yet, I'm not

good with the time difference, but if you guys have started

your Championships, Good luck Puddle and Team

Australia!!

I also read that James has cancelled racing at Pegasus

tomorrow. Don't want anyone to make an extra trip. He said

they will resume next Saturday.

So, is anyone racing this week-end, or taking a "rest" ??

Looks like it will rain tomorrow anyway. I think I am taking this weekend off. Not sure if I can do any racing next weekend yet but I hope to get some more runs in before the JBRL final!

JBRL final is coming up quick. I think everyone

wants to get some runs in. McDuffie just put in his

order for motors. The points are just so close!

Looks like whoever TQ's and wins will get it, that's

a lot to ask for with the competition being so stiff!!

yeah it is I cant wait till the final. As of now the truck race is a no, but I might be able to be there after all, and turn red like lobster and get second degree sun burns.
