I would start around 21 and adjust depending on that particular motor and the track size.

I find that sooo funny when we do IFMAR starts. Somehow all the Chris' get stuck in the same heat and for some reason they dont know their number. I cant wait to see how it works out for the shootout.

Oh wow!! I've got everything confused!!

I had to go back and read the threads!

Ok, lets try this: CoolChris Puller, are you running the C2 or Kd19??

CoolChris asked about gearing a C2, but you just got a KD 19 right?

Vanai, I think I got you confused too! LOL I KNOW you like the KD19!

We could have a major Banzai pile-up with all the Chris's!!

This is too funny!

Gear the KD19 one tooth lower then what you gear a C2. The KD motors pull a lot more RPM then the C2 motors. I have had great success with the KD19 motor so far. I have 2 wins and a 2nd (to another KD19) at JBRL races with one of these awesome motors this year. We will see how I fair at the Shootout with it! I can hardly wait.

Dunford update... I got him to So Cal last night and he has not lost a step. He was laying down some quick lap times and has both cars in working order again. He is trying to make it to the 2nd round of quals on Friday so watch out!

Hey fellow banzai-i-ans? Just wanted to let everyone know that we did some testing at Hot Rods yesterday and that the track is awesome. We had to run it wet to make sure it stays together but the layout is definitely worth the price of admission.

If I remember correctly there was a question earlier about stock being able to clear all of the jumps. I will tell you that on the wet track they could clear all but one in stock truck and the one they couldn't clear will probably be do-able once traction comes up. (Its also a jump in which you downside a table top so if you have to land on top of it you're totally fine) I know that a 19t would clear everything and I'd expect the TQ times in the 19t classes to be extremely close to modified top 10 times.

I can't wait to get out there and have some fun racing with everybody.
See you there.

Jeremy

Jeremy- Which jump could you not clear? For stock I could clear everything with the exception of downsiding the tabletop.
