Did Dumas use a Tekin and which?

Can we see a complete R1?

I see on Tower Hobbies that there is a "stock" motor system coming out. What are the specs compared to the Novak 13.5?

You can check here - http://www.teamtekin.com/Cleveland%20Race.asp - didn't say which Tekin Dumas used though...

Any specific dates on the release of the new bruhsed ESCs? I need a speedo in the next week or two, and I need a small one. My G10 and G11 won't cut it and if these are due to the market in the immediate future, I'll hold off on buying a GTX.

Thanks,

doug

There is no specific date that I am aware of but I believe Tekin will be ready for shipping sometime this month.

Maybe someone from Tekin management can confirm this as I cant be 100%

Hope that helps

Sorry for the lack of updates. Things have been pretty exciting with our new building and all the new products. Building a few and building a few thousand are 2 entirely different challenges.

The B1 and B1R will be out the first of the year. The R1 boards are in production and the housing molds are being cut currently. Should have them out the door Mid Jan. We have a lot of brushless motors in development and plan to have a wide offering for all applications. 1/8 scale electric.. its here and going to turn some heads.

The FX is close behind..and do not forget the Battery Nurse (sweet graphic eh), the digital servos, Lipo batteries and we are getting serious about our new chargers.

Please hang with us a bit longer... No one wants these products released more than me. We are not just adding a product or 2, they are all new and we cannot wait to show them to you.

Oh man, that's a bummer. I can't wait until the end of January for the FX... crap. Looks like a GTX it is.

Here's one for you. Would I be stupid to put a Rage Brushless ESC in my 12th scale with a Novak 13.5 Stock motor? Would I be asking to blow it up?

Could be trouble with a 13.5 motor on SubC batteries with the mini Rage.

We have drivers using the 20mm Mini Rage motor with 4 cell Nimh SubC batteries and beating the mod guys with 8turn brushed motors. Check it out on our website. The mini rage should handle about any motor when used with a 2/3A battery pack as intended. With SubC Nimh batteries there is a lot more power available if the motor ask for it.

In fact we think a 30mm motor would be ideal for 1/12 scale, maybe even a 28mm or a 25mm based on how well the 20mm works. Perhaps one way we can slow down brushless motors to stock and 19 levels is with can size. Then we are back to where we were on brushed motors.. if you push to hard it burns up.

Roar is currently asking for brushless motor proposals from all of us manufacturers.
