From the vid, I would guess that either yr batts have gotten too heavy causing yr rear to be over-weighted. Might want to tweak the car to be more forward bias. The wing angle can be adjusted to give a try.

R u talking abt me? My truggy since I change to hn conversion n motor it's rear heavy n too powerful (1600kv hw)

already at punch 2 only.

I will change back to tekin 1550 n try.

If not then must do diff setting.

but My buggy handles very well with d same conversion

Default Race observations...

Hiya folks,

Just some observations from a third party:
-by and large, all the cars(buggies and trucks) are wayyyy to overpowered.
-no one seems to tune by tires/springs/dampers/roll centres

because the disparity between car power and driver ability is huge... Most drivers are overshooting the turns, cartwheeling the jumps and basically bashing the cars(not that it's a bad thing, it's fun after all).

For those who are keen to actually develop better driving ability, tone down the motor KV... You'll find it easier to drive the cars, take better jumps and complete consistently.

Shalom and God Bless.

Lol my buggy is tamer than my truggy.

My truggy is back heavy due to the new chassis. I hv to struggle driving it as my buggy is neutral. But my truggy need to brake in mid air.

What do u suggest? I was thinking of getting heavier front wheels or move the rx box forward.

Don't go crazy with the motor kv... There is no prize for jumping highest or most cartwheels on landing. Neither are there any prizes for most bangs against track barriers or marshalls. I drove Jericho's truck and I can understand why everyone except Jericho is unable to do consistent laps... He's good! So if your setup is like his, you won't be able to catch him... He is driving his car, your car is driving you...

I just find it strange that the 1/8th EP guys are always looking out for more power or newer/fancier technology when you really should be buying
more tires and just practice consistent laps.

err my kv is lower than his, hes driving 4s on 2250kv me 1600kv with 6s.

i think i placed my esc on my rear thats y it wheelies n had too much rear traction n need to brake to control flight.

i think i need to lower my timing if it still doesnt work, i may change the motor. if still cant then i will change the weight distribution.

i am using aka n proline already lol, at the end of the day its knowing how to drive your car & setup thats y changing setup is always a headache lol.

Erm, in case you still think your kv is lower... Here is the math:
Jericho: 4s battery= 14.8v x 2250(motor kv)=33300rpm
Alan: 6s battery= 22.2v x 1600(motor kv)=35520rpm

er... You still convinced that you're running a tamer setup?
Jericho's car is a handful... It only shows that mr. J is an awesome driver...
I'd suggest your motor with a 4s setup... You'll definately won't be overjumping or overshooting, and you can concentrate on driving good lines.

try shifting the driver forward, the muscle mass will sure help to counter balance the ass heavy truggy....

u forgot the speed thingy, what hes geared n wat i m geared. 4s setup runs hot, i tested before. my batts run till 60 over degrees.

higher cell-lower kv- cooler system
higher kv-lower cell-hotter system but lighter on weight.

i was racing my x1 crt with 6s 5000(700g) heavier car n batts no problem for 1 year. neutral jumps

only last 2 race i changed to a lighter batt (430g) lighter chassis x2 crt n its all messed up. nose up jumps

but i have no problem with my buggy except my tire came out lol.

timing on the motor plays a part. i was using 15 timing, maybe i should lower it. punch was at 2 already.

Default Erm, missing the point by miles...

To the above question, I'd say... Setup your car.

On the post above that...

You are talking about temperatures... I'm talking about power.

There is no connection bro. Your car can be boiling hot and still be underpowered, or overpowered, whichever is relevant. Less heat doesn't mean less power. Higher heat doesn't mean higher power... Savvy?

let's take this off-line, if you need help. SMS me.
