actually the cars been out for awhile, it's the "special" version that's new to the states. I'll be getting mine next week. Most of Team Associated will be running this 4wd car at the worlds, I believe all of them except for Travis who is still running the Durango.

Man, I hope this one is as durable as the old YZ-10. I wish I kept that buggy from my younger years. Know anyone who has one? Just a thought.

wow that is really nice. I wonder how much it will be in the U.S. it definatly looks like it is going to give the xxx4 a good battle especially at the upper Pro level .

just beware if the drivetrain is not sealed like it is on the standard MR4-BC, if you run on a dusty track you will be rebuilding rear diffs far more often than you'd like...

Yokomo USA has them ready to ship to hobby shops as of the 15th. I don't know if they got a big shipment or not but their website says to hurry and order before they're gone. I'm assuming the first shipment wasn't that big.

KINGZJ,

Exactly what Matt said. I'm basically waiting for them to finish up on the English supplement sheet and the English parts list, the kit should be available sometime this week. I'm doing a pre-order online starting today to speed up the order process and shipping.

No, there is no slipper clutch. You pretty much never need a slipper clutch with a 4wd car.

take your time and have the supplement sheets open along with the instructions. There's almost more supplements than instructions. After this weekend we should have some sort of setup and tricks to report

Assembly is pretty straight forward, especially if you've built a couple of the MR4 TC's. I think I looked at the instruction book twice. lol
The rear belt is really tight to begin with. It will eventually break in but if you want to speed the process, you can soak it in wd-40 for a few hours to loosen it up a bit. I'm just going to run mine in though.
It's been a little while since I've run in the dirt, but not quite as long as you Steve. Last time I ran offroad was the 2000 Reedy Race. I did crappy in 2wd but I got 4th in 4wd.

Is there any way to seal the drivetrain of this buggy? My buggies normally see more than just the race track and any help keeping dirt out would be welcome.

You could probably make a lexan shield of some kind if you really wanted to but as long as you don't cut out too much of the body, it should keep most of the dirt out.

I saw masami's and it was sealed with Number Plate/Chassis protector cut to fit.Very good idea.Light and works well.Soaking the belt in WD40 is a great idea.We did this with the schumacher belts.
Goodluck with the new cars.Maybe these and the New losi will spark it a lil..

Matt and I are running them tomorrow at Capitol City and we both have different setups on the car. We'll report our findings tomorrow night.
