I have been running GEN ACE 5000 40C on my MOD TC for the past few months and charge this bad boy at 10 amps with no noticeable fade in performance. And I run it on practice at norcal hobbies on MOD this past weekend and I'm telling you guys It can hang with the big boys..

got a pair of the 5k 40c 2s packs a couple weeks back, charged them up to a balanced 3.98v/cell that day, checked them today they dropped to 3.96v/c still balanced perfectly, look like they gunna be some great packs, cant wait for outdoors to dry out and really get these packs on the track!

I just bought my first lipo packs from Hobbypartz as well. I bought three 2200mah 2S packs and two 1800mah 2s packs, all Gensace. The first charge at 2.0a and 1.6a respectfully, the packs charged to about 1090 and 980 each. A second charge after running the 1800 for quite a while in a parking lot, charged at 2c, and it showed 1740mah. Seem pretty awesome to me.

Just after xmass I pick up gens ace 5000 2s 40c only ran it maybe 10 times and kinda stop working......after some investigation I notice at the bottom of the plug it had voltage but n0t when the harness was plug in.......so I drop some small peaces solder in plug hole and stuck hot iron in the hole, melted solder and bamm it works fine (so far)

so yes im still a Gens Ace Fan
and yes I will be buying more Gens ace batteries

thats normal for lipo batteries, it happened on my orion molecular 5000 pack which cost almost 3 times more than gens ace 5000 40c.
it works fine after i solder it.
but i dont wanna use any other brand after i used gens ace
