Hey guys,
I am stuck between the Tekno EB410 and the YZ-4 SF. I know the Tekno has been out longer thus I am finding more reviews and information on it. I was just wondering if anyone has had experience with both and could help enlighten me on the durability of the Yokomo and the over all feel. I am actually incredibly lucky to have the following 4 tracks available.
Indoor high traction clay - Dirt Burners Racing
Indoor medium traction clay - RC Club House
Outdoor loose and loamy dirt - Family RC
Indoor Turf - Larry's Performance RC
I typically race at Club House becasue it is the closest to me and the largest of all 4 tracks.
I really can't decide which car to get as part support is fairly equal between the two brands.

Question on servos. I’ll be running 13.5 on carpet. I’m leaning towards the the Protek 160T. It’s a low profile high torque and the speed is super fast. Any suggestions/comments other than a Savox?

Anyone here know how to set up the wiki for this thread? I think this car is going to be popular and it would be nice to have one place to look for some basic stuff since the instructions can be challenging for those who do not read Japanese!.

What should spare parts are you all keeping on hand? Plan to travel a bit to places that don’t stock yokomo parts.

I read in another thread that the option to create wikipost is under Thread Tools. But I don’t see it. Maybe I don’t rank.

Protek 160T is an excellent servo. Smooth , accurate, strong, fast. I have one in my YZ4 for 2 years and it’s still g2g. Power HD newest full size servos are primo as well. Light for full size, strong fast, quiet, reliable etc. $75 from CRP, the look great with the black machined center core.
