Has anyone that has taken all the "slop" out of the D413 actually noticed an improvement in how it drives? The difference in "slop" in things like steering between on and offroad 1:1 race cars is very noticible and on purpose. Why wouldn't the same principle apply here?

about half way though the build. i can tell this car will be harder to work on for sure.

but easiest car i have ever built. no part tree. bags are by step and stub steps with matching hardware. i few other companies can take note.

Just finished mine. Mounted my esc at the back and the space is tight and the wiring is not quite as clean as I would like. Also my fat hard worked hands had some trouble with the tiny screws and fidly bits. All in all though was an easy enough build. Not quite as easy as my et48 got together in 1 sitting. Now let's just hope my mesh is good so I can go rip this thing around the track for a day

Yea the car is fun easy build.
My only concern is making diff changes during race day. I'm definitely leaning towards have a second Front and maybe Rear Diff pre-assembled and labeled to just drop in.

Yesterday I finally got my HW ESC & Motor, so now can finish build and look forward to running

So I finally got to drive mine yesterday after a few weeks of having it, man this thing is a beauty smooth, consistent. I've never owned any 4x4 buggy but I'm sure keeping this one made it to 3rd on the Amain first time driving it.

I will say that the d413 soaks up the track like no one business. For some reason, it goes full wood over the rut on my local track and I swear the chassis stays flat. Other wheelers are hopping and bouncing. Maybe it is because of the center gear diff?

Anyone running the Proline Type-r body? Is there more room above the motor for wiring? I replace my motor leads last night. I wanted them to be slightly longer for some slack. now the body is flexing up....

You have to position the motor so that the tabs are like pictured:

yeah, my tabs are like that. But my esc wires are in the middle of the car. Mostly because my receiver lead wont reach otherwise, lol.

I mounted mine on top of the servo. Mostly because I needed room for my caps and stuff.
