Has everything been covered yet ?
steering
I am building my 710 and have a question. Without a servo installed should the front wheels turn (by hand) easily from side to side or is there a little resistance built-in to it?
Thanks
Thanks
they should turn relatively easily.you have to watch when you tighten down the huge silver grubscrew onto the pivot balls to make sure its not so tight that it binds and not to loose that it lets the steering knucle wiggle. i tighten the screw just to the point where as much lateral movement of the knuckle is gone. since the parts are new some wear-in will loosen things up too.
Thanks, I will take a look at it. I purchased a rolling chassis and now I will probably end up taking it apart and rebuilding it just so I know it's right.
not a bad idea. i rebuild all the time just to know it's right.... and i'm the original builder

Yeah right ... am not at home for the week so definitely have nothing to do!
I have rebuilt my Impulse Pro a few times. I know how that car works.
