I tested my evo yesterday. Everything goes well except cornering angle still not that sharp off power ! ( I expecting more or as my MTX3 ! ) I believe my setup not that "sweet" yet. So I need help.
Current Setup
Front
Tire : Form
Caster : Only 1 pc of thin block slot in front
Camber :1
Toe Out : 1.5
Spring : Hard
Diff Oil : 10,000
Ride Height: 5mm
Droop: +3
Front Sway Bar : 90º ( Hard)
Rear
Tire - Form 40 shoe
Camber :2
Toe In : 2
Spring : Soft
Diff Oil : 7,000 LSD
Ride Height: 6mm
Droop: +4
Rear Sway bar : Gold Shaft - (Hard)
This week I want t o work on the rear/front sway bar and the caster. Hope I will get it..

Well some more results from this weekends outing.........
Plenty of rear grip to be had by reducing rear camber. Mine was at the kit setting of around 3.5 degrees. I am down to 2 on the rear and the tires are wearing nice and flat. Appears the EVO requires much less overall camber. A nice side benefit is that acceleration is improved.
Using +4 degrees of droop in the rear seems to work very nicely. Locked the rear end of the car in very nicely.
I no longer need to use the 300m to get plenty of steering. Sticking with a Stratus 2.1 and even front/rear shore tires is giving me plenty of turn in for my driving style.
The weight reduction on my car has made it feel even more like my XRAY!! This thing changes direction in a heartbeat!! I can recommend these parts:
1. Square TI pivotballs - unsprung weight reduction
2. AAA battery pack - overall mass reduction
3. Graphite top deck and Shimo chassis plate - Stiffer + mass reduction
I am not using a left hand brace and it feels well stiff enough for me right now. My track is only medium grip however.
On another related note, I found that using a 6mm ride height is excellent on lower grip/bumpy surfaces. I have always had it in my head to run 4mm, but getting it up higher makes the car corner much more smoothly. My current theory is that the chassis must have been striking/dragging.

Well we have some new Kawahara items...............
