Alex: My car weight 1450g with the followings equipment onboard:
- M'tronik Prodigi Max 2000 ESC
- Sanwa 2 channel Receiver
- KO 2123 Servo
- Sanyo RC3000 fasten with Glass tape
- D4 11x3 Motor
- Front diff with light weight outdrive
- Light weight at rear diff
- Alumnium center direct drive pulley
- F&R Roll Bar
- Cross Alumnium Steering Kunckle
- Original Dish Rim, Sorex tyres and inserts
- Protoform Dodge Stratus bodyshell
I have added 55g of lead weight under the steering rack to get the car to be at the legal weight.

FRONT ONEWAY UNIT AND CENTER LAY SHAFT ONEWAY
GUYS,
If i'll install a front oneway unit of my TA04 do i still need to install another oneway for the center lay shaft? can you give me the pros and cons of adding a oneway. do i need to install both or if i install the front oneway there is no use for the center oneway anymore?

Is it a dual one way you are talking about? I got the dual type therefore it is virtually drag-free!
The front one way will make your car turn in faster and having more steering. You wone scrub off much speed like 4WD would.
The neg side is you only get rear wheel braking... and if you back off throttle too quickly it can unsettle you car into a spin... without even touching the brakes!!! especially on slippery surface... ( that is why I got full time 4WD now as the weather is no good over here! and I am not that good yet....)
There is not much point having the front OW and the OW lay shaft together.... if you got he one way lay shaft it pretty does the same job but you get more drag due to the belts and the front diff etc....

I don't know if you guys have tried this before but to get moe control over the car on high traction carpet take the stock TA04 C hubs and cut off the ear where you usally connect the the upper link. then take the Ball / king pin from the 414 chubs and put that and use it like you would usally
the 7 degree hubs seam to give a little better handing

Here are some pics of my brand new Tamiya TRF414M. I got it yesterday afternoon, finished last night.
Question: What is the purpose of the dual-collars? What does the 2nd collar do?
Question: I have 4 spare suspension shafts, are they part of the spare parts Tamiya gives you?
Later, I'll post scans of the front sway bar setup the guys in Japan are doing.

Where did you get your TRF 414M??? didnt tamiya usa run out of it long time ago?
The dual collar on the damper, the second one supposly secure the first one so during excessive damping the collar doesn't unintenally unscrew itself.

Anyway one thing I feel I should pass on as one 414M owner to another is to remove two of the four rear spacers for the upper shock mounts. This is so the shocks are straight up and down, and no tilted out like they are at the moment. It reduces some of the stress on the shocks.
With those pics you attached, have you been able to do a translation of the text?I'd like to know the reason for the change.

It looks as if they are trying to replicate the front stabilizer from the Yokomo Special!!
That the stabilizer goes over the whole setup and comes from the centre of the chassis out and not from the front of the chassis to the centre, if you know what I mean.
