We run on rubber, and it isn't bad to be honest, I fitted a pair of braces from the gearboxes to the chassis to remove that little bit of flex there. As for it being a porker, it is, there is no way of getting round it, on GP33's the car is well over a 100grammes overweight, and no matter what, that is a lot of extra weight to cary round a flat track.
On carpet though, it is very good, but I ran my chassis stiffer than stock.

does any body know what the part# for the Tamiya Turnbuckle ( hop-up) to use on the TA05? The stock ones just keep stripping , all the help will be appreciated, and also for the steering rod too. One more thing will the 6mm. alloy hub be an OK fit ? I've been using spacers in the front because we only raced carpet and most of my wheels are 28mm. If you can see in the picture the front ball cup is almost touching the wheel.

TCS Question's
Hey all.
I just bought the TA05 with the Mercedes boby (ony one at hobby shop)
Everything's going smooth I just have a question about the TCS rules on body choices.
I plan to run the Mercedes body for the first few runs while I shop for a new body. I was wondering if I can run the TA04 Corvette body on the 05 and be legal. Also when not running at a TCS track I'm thinking of the Stratus 3.0 or the new Pontiac G6 body. I've herd alot of good thing's about the Stratus but no one has the G6 yet so if anyone out there has the G6 i'd like to here what you think.
And finally....anyone go Brushless yet?

Hi, I noticed now, you are selling alloy lower gearbox housings for the TA05, something that I have been thinking about, is it possible to make a rear gearbox housing, so the eccentric bearing mouldnings can be fitted up normal, or inverted, this would give two diff heights??
Is it possible?
Thanks

Towerhobbies.com
Thercshack.com- you can actually pre-order any parts from them, just give them the part number that you need , they are Illinois base.
