This event is open to ALL BRANDS of cars. However,Top 5 for 1/8 and Top 15 for 1/10 MUGEN Drivers will auto qualify for the Grand Finals. All other drivers and balance Mugen drivers(Shud there be more than 5(1/8) and 15(1/10) Mugen Drivers in the event) will challenge for the remaining 15(1/8) and 25(1/10) slots. In the event there are less than the 5 and 15 Mugen Drivers in the event, then the slots will be opened to the other brand drivers.

As host country,we are allocated 20 slots(1/8) and 40 slots (1/10).As such for the qualifying race we will only run A and B main finals(1/8) and A to D main (1/10).

Should more slots be available due to insufficient drivers from other countries, then our local drivers will take up the slots, based on the qualifying results. So if any driver dont make the Top 20(1/8) and TOP 40(1/10),pls dont give up as u will be still on the standby list.

Default HPC Special Bonus

Attention to all NON MUGEN Drivers!!

We at HPC are offering this for 1/10 category only:

To the highest ranking NON MUGEN Driver,HPC will offer a sponsership of an MTX3 car kit only, free of charge. The spec of the kit is an original MTX3 standard kit with some options included, but not Prospec specs.

Condition, the driver must drive the car for the entire Grand Finals event. And the car is yours!

However, shud the highest ranking NON MUGEN driver turns down this offer, the offer will go to the next highest ranking NON MUGEN DRIVER,...and so on until somebody takes it up,that is only for the TOP 40 ranking only who will be participating in the Grand Finals.

Cheers!

HPC, firstly thanks for bringing this race to M'sia.

The R&R will be similar to what you have posted before? If it is, my query regarding the fueling and cooling holes is not answered yet. Also, are there any goodies such as tires and etc since the entry fee for this qualifying race is RM100?

Thanks.

Rgds

Bundyman - Thanks for bringing up this matter.

The Rules and Regulation are as per IFMAR.So all the cooling holes, refuelling holes, wing chord,height,wheelbase,...etc will be checked on race day.

Only difference:

Engine - 5 port is allowed
Tune Pipe - Outlaw is allowed ie 7mm
Fuel Nitro Content - No Limit

These R n R are imposed by Mugen Seiki, not HPC.We will enforce this for the qualifying for us all to familiarise and conform for the Grand Finals.

As for prizes, all will be allocated as lucky draw for all to have a chance.

Thanks.

We have enquired with Kenji confirming the cooling holes sizes. We expect an answer within a day.

Cheers!

Perhaps as a suggestion, you could get some fuel sponsorship to sponsor the whole event. Perhaps like during the race day, all racing events in the heats and the mains will be provided free fuel... I guess that would make the playing field even better.

It is indeed a good idea. However, as this is an international event, Mugen drivers will be coming all over Asia and they will only specify the type of fuel they want to use.

In fact, some of them will be shipping their own preferred fuel specially for this race. Also, as you may know, some local drivers are sponsored by local fuel distributers as well. Imposing this rule will complicate matters.

Lastly, R&R are regulated by Mugen Seiki Japan. I guess we just have to adhere to them professionally.

Cheers,

Mugen Racing Fuel made by Byron... Should be ok, no?

The idea of the one fuel thingy is so that the outstation people or those especially from overseas do not need spend on getting their preferred fuels expensively shipped here...

Well, if that's not the case, then every stick to their own fuel then though it would be good sales point of view and promotion for the fuel. Cheers.
