I ran one of my BD7s without battery guides for a few weeks without too many issues. As recommended, it was necessary to file down the edges of the chassis slots or else the tape eventually split. Now I have a set of the guides for both cars. Both pairs are made of metal as opposed to plastic, though.

[QUOTE=DirkW;13164087]The only battery "guide" included is a center plastic piece under the the belt. Else you're supposed to just tape the batteries to the chassis. However, there are optional (plastic*) brackets available

Would anyone be interested in plastic battery guides? they are made out of ABS plastic. Suits ferfect on my BD7 and 2014 and using a Thunder power 5300mAh battery:

I have a pair of each left, white and black

Hara ran top 3-5 A Main times in the B. He just happened to fail to make the show.

The worlds warm was not a good event to see where everyone will be at for the worlds. The tires were so terribly inconsistent that some racers were not able to perform to their full potential due to bad sets of tires. This may have been the case for Hara in qualifying. His B1 time was actually faster than Volker's A1 time.

Standard top deck. Same set up, however the set ups we were running were very unconventional.

Most Yokomo guys ended up running the 44.2 FF mount in the rear for very little rear toe in and 5000-10000 wt rear diff oil. This gave the best forward bite and overheated the tires less.
