Watching practice online, Button is currently out tearing off fast laps, while Lewis is in the garage with his girlfriend and Lenny Kravitz. I still can't figure out why Button is so much better than him......

Excited the season is starting. Too bad the Nats are this weekend. Can't watch much of it live. Should be asleep right now already. Yikes.

The same goes for rubber. This gets worse when you're using a control tyre (for both, of course). TC has the advantage of being able to tweak the suspension to make a specific set of tyres work, a pan car a lot less so. Incidentally, this is also the area where I feel IRS might get an edge, eventually. :P

I'm sure the Button fans can give you a very simple and clear explanation

Superb! One thing I like the most, is tires and their tags, the way you glued them was awesome and after that tires were looking pretty real.

Damn it!!!
turn away for a few days and a huge arguemental debate happens

Racing in the US will always be very different from racing in Europe, be it full sized of a scaled down version.
(looks at Stock Cars, Europe and USA have totally different ideas).

Be it Foam or Rubber or 180 or 200, F1 will always be different scales due to the full sized cars being different scales.
But the one thing that I do not want to see in F1 is the use of Pro10/WGT wheels.
Even full sized F1 is kept with 13" wheels (even though Pirelli wanted to go the low profile route).

As for the front end, even my P34 is debatable, but is allowed as it is classed as a historic car.

I do look forward to seeing in person the performance gap between Solid and Independent rear end F1 cars, maybe in the future when (if) numbers pick up then they can run as separate classes ?

We could always let another cat out the basket?

Except for maybe the beautiful Mclaren. Congrats to Jenson and Lewis. The season is starting out good.

Yes, they did a great job. But I'm for the German drivers

Go HAMILTON

Good job Mercedes, gotta watch out for Brawn!!
It has given me piece of mind finally knowing why in the hell Vettel was so fast last year, Its going to take a few races i think for them to find the pace but if Jenson and Hamilton get on a roll its going to be hard to catch up to them both of them are on fire. ultimately i think Jenson will do better due to his consistency!

My MD-FGX! Thanx Troy good job and great machine work!

Default AH MAN!

Hey F1 Homies, got a request and hope you may feel the same.

Post "Spoiler Alert" at the beginning of your post if you're gonna give updates on full scale F1 stats.
Cool?
Or better yet, no updates since so many of us rely on DVRs to keep in touch with the live stuff we can't get to on time.
That would be awesome.
Thanks

I couldn't agree more. Even better keep this thread just RC F1 related and use the Formula 1 thread in chit chat to talk about the race. I just avoid that thread all together until I am caught up watching qualifying or the race. I really do not want to have to start avoid this one also.
