U.S. Vintage Trans-Am Racing

The RDX I almost got was selling for $150, and it was very clean and even had all the aluminum anodized a custom color. So cheap used quality RDXs are out there, but rare. Unless another good deal comes around, I'll probably end up with an S and just have to upgrade the major weak spots.

Is there another Vintage Car Nationals anytime soon? This class has taken off extremely fast here in Charlotte North Carolina.....We are at twelve and growing.....we will have our indoor 48x80 ozite carpet track in by the end of the month and are getting a lot of interest to run the carpet season....This class is awesome and a ton of fun and thrills for everyone......

The deal for the RDX fell through, someone else sent the seller the money while I was waiting for a PM reply. Dunno if I'll put together a vintage car now or not. Have to find a cheap used quality TC, or commit to buying a cheap new TC like the Cyclone S, and hope it holds up. And preferably sell of either my Slash or RC18T to help pay for a new TC setup.

The S is still a great car for the money. Especially among brand new stuff.

Nothing confirmed yet (the indoor season is just starting!), but I would say there is a great chance of another USVTA Nats happening again in the early spring of 2009.

Nothing complicated—just a couple of minor clarifications for guys who read a little too deeply into the rules for the sake of stretching the boundaries of fair play.

Looks like Doug beat me to it.
Anyhow not pushing for more choices, but how do you guys think that would work out with different manufacturers and the FDR restriction. Reading some threads about these motors, some like the timing down and throw more gear at it, some like the timing up. With the FDR restriction will that give one an advantage over another or since they aren't geared to their max potential would it even matter? Guess I don't know.
