Did you end up making the beefed up coupler clamps? Got one bent a couple weeks back.

For those who were interested in the lipo bulkhead kits, they are ready to ship. The kit will include 2 new much improved rear bulkheads. They are made from much better aluminum and the webbing has been thickened to reduce bending. These should be the last bulkheads you will ever need to buy. Along with the bulkheads it includes custom pins to mount the top deck to the top of the front bulheads and a spacer to lower the stearing lever back to the stock location as well as all the hardware you will need. We also have a lipo tray that accepts the corally weights and is adjustable in and out for ballancing. The price will be $150 for the kit and the tray. Without the tray the price is $135. Plus shipping.

Been running the kit all winter and the car has been really good and holds tweek much better than before. Here's some picks of just the kit and installed on the car.

Default Corally

Thinking about getting into electric, and the Corally is one I am considering along with the X-Ray.
I have checked the shops around where I live and there is no support for the Corally.
Where would I find a good shop <even on line> where I could buy parts should I buy the Corally
thanks

Stormer carries quite a number of Corally parts and what they don't carry you can get directly from www.corallyusa.com

The 07-08 version is still an excellent rubber tire carpet car. Absolutely get an 08 diff for the rear.

Reliability is not an issue. The softer f/r arms (#5/#30) hold up a lot better than the stiffer ones (#80) and provide a certain amount of flex for rubber on carpet.

I went back and forth with using spools or one-ways for different circumstances. Do you know which you have for the front end?

Still keep finding 07-08 carpet related parts around after selling both of mine. Is there anything you are looking for?

Does the new gear diffs fit the Corally 09? If so, which one and what is required to fit one?

Cool. Car came wth 5 arms all around and a bunch of 35 and 80 arms in a parts box. It has a spool front end and what looks to be a 07 rear diff. I spent a couple of hours last night trying to read the whole thread and saw a diff upgrade for the olders ones that replaces the thust bearing with a 12th scale bearing. I'm going to try that when I teardown tonight. Supposedly the hotsetup on our technical track is a one way.

I'm mostly concerned with durability. I'm probably going to throw in a 21.5 and run a few packs in it untill I get the hang of it then pop in the 17.5.
