I got a set of those shims from him and they are a perfect fit and much easier to live with than some washer / shock spacers. Quick shipping to, he got them to me in a couple days.

I just saw in the For Sale section that someone has designed a nice shim set for the tranny that is shaped to fit in rather nicely. I don't know if it's in bad taste to post a link to for sale items, but it's definitely worth a look...just a little pricey...but it's not like we do this because it's economically sound.

most of those who run the truck on carpet or turf, use mid motor and rubber tires....
there are very few tracks in the country, who run foam tire carpet.
basically it is not cost effective to make a part that will only be marketed to a small number of people.
i would have to guess that erik will figure out the truck in a mid motor setup..

Max,
I would invest time figuring out the mid-motor if all you're racing on is carpet - mid-motor is superior for the conditions you are racing on, that is what mid-motor is for. You just need to figure it out until some of the European guys get the kits running.
Keep an eye on what Erik does, he'll have it sorted out.
