It's hard to say without having the car in hand....but I imagine the car has a higher than most polar moment of ineritia.

Already in January at the DHI Cup in Denmark I had the prototype in my hands and played around with the suspension at the pit table. Very innovative design. Yes - some small parts in the suspension, but otherwise also only two dampers. Theerefore, the maintenance should be even to the 4.0 car.
Two cars were runing at that race. Looked nice on the track. Looked like higher cornerspeed with less roll. I think it has to do with the extreme low centre of graverty due to the damper mount in the bottom of the car.

I don't think so - it doesn't have 4 giant heavy coil over shocks hanging off the front and rear of the chassis like traditional cars. Lower polar moment with tiny shocks mounted underneath the diffs. And the CG might even be lower than Awesomatix.

Wow! This 4-X car looks like it has great potential. I can't wait to see how the car performs at the next big championship race.

That suspension design would be great for a nitro 1/10 scale tourer......

Cross-posting. Just built both Gizmo GZ1 and Serpent Project 4X, two of the cars I consider as the most innovative on the market. I enjoyed building both. I have not run either yet, but for those who want to try something different, both cars are worth considering.

The Dual Spur on the GZ1 allows the motor to be centered which I like a lot, and the Awesomatix suspension is also very innovative.

The 4X's suspension is truly innovative, even after building it, I can't say I fully grasp how it really works when the car actually runs. But I love how the anti rollbar function is 'built in' into the design.

Both cars are super high quality. I will give the slight upper hand to the 4X just because I had a few missing parts from the GZ1 (and a bad outdrive), BUT Gizmo provides EXCELLENT support. Very responsible and very responsive. They certainly stand by their products.

I will run them both (eventually) on asphalt... I am more into building than actually racing. =P
