Had a good turnout, 6 1/12th scales and 4 touring cars. Might be a small turnout next week because many of use 1/12 scale drivers are going to California. However look for a good turn out over the July 4th weekend.

That's good news. My first trip up will probably be the 11th, especially if Lonny can make it

Hi guys, looking into getting a 1/12 x ray to do some racing. What shore is working the best? I know you mentioned colors but I'm looking at getting some Xceed tires.

Only tire that seems to work is blue rears. They have bsr and crc at shop. Fronts you can go with dbl. Blue or purples.
Not as easy as getting same shore compound. Blue is around 30-35 shore but it's about type of foam.
I run an xray x12 15 with BSR blue rears and dbl blue fronts.

I have tried all sorts of compounds and the blues work, none of the others have.

Sounds good, thanks

I'm going to be building the Xray X12 '15. What are the motor specs for this class? Are you all racing a 17.5 TC class or is it only mod.

17.5 blinky tc also. BSR blue rears and dbl blue or purple fronts for tc too. Same thing blue rears are 100% better than any others I have tried.
If you need any setup info for x12 lmk.
Come out tomorrow night and check things out.

Thanks for all the info. I'm still in Alaska and will be moving the end of the month as my wife is going to dental school in Glendale. Looking forward to doing some racing soon.

Another good turnout last night at SRS. Had 7 1/12 scales and 5 Touring cars. The new layout provided a new challenge. Had some good battles in touring car and 1/12 scale. The program continues to grow. Adam now has plenty of tires in stock so no need to worry about not having the tires needed at the track. Hope to see some new faces next time. Those who have not been since we figured the surface out are missing out. Hope to see some of the other 1/12 scale drivers give the place a try.

Good times! New layout is fun. Thanks to Cory and Adam for putting in the time to get track going.
Good run David!
