That is correct. No need for a locator plate. It will put the cells in the front position

40 wt w/ the gold sping(included in kit) is a good starting point.

Ok cool...currently I run my cells in the middle position...I'll have to experiment with moving them up to the front position.

Jason,
Love the 12RR and now go for Lipo
This is a question for new Lipo chassis.
Damper lube weight 5000 for asphalt with high traction?
Roll out for 13.5 and 17.5 Tekin Redline?
Track size: 100x60
Tire: 44.5 mm (1.75")

Thanks,

I have a 12R I'd like to upgrade to the 12RR version. Is it possible to get the new Lipo chassis in the upgrade?

Hey guys, I will be posting the setup we came up with for the lipo chassis shortly.

If you would like to upgrade to the DB12RR with the lipo chassis, that is fine. The price is the same as with the 4 cell.

That really sucked to hear 360 closed down. Sal and Donny are great guys. I wish them the best

I suppose that means your going to want your car back....

But now I have an excuse to get my own 12RR Lipo!

The Rollout with 1s LiPo will be slightly dependent on your Speedo and motor timing, so here is the range I've seen most running:

17.5 = 90-100mm
13.5 = 80-90mm

If you are running a speedo that advances the timing, shoot for the lower rollout, if you are leaving timing alone have been gearing up, shoot for the higher range.

hey mike. angled servo is more agressive on turn in. flat calms things down mostly on high bite carpet. if you are running on asphalt run it angled if you are on high bite carpet run it flat. you can run it angled on high bite carpet alot of us do but its agressive and requires some driving finesse but its worth it. i always have faster lap times with it angled hope this helps
