What is the general difference between mounting the servo flat or angled?

i thought you had suggested using the servo in the fwd position with the ball studs behind the horn (arms go between the horn and servo)
do i grind some material from the servo support or ?

sorry, i still don't get it. if i try to mount the servo in the forward position, the servo body foul's on the lower arm.

I've ran both the CRC and the Serpent and like both. However I did have some alignment issues using the CRC with the long upper arm conversion. Another driver in our race who runs a BMI also runs a CRC and did not have the same alignment issue I had. To be honest though as long as you are careful in the build (Get a 8-32nd tap!) the stock front end is as good as either of them. Next season the guy running the CRC front end is going back to the stock and I have some ideas that I will be trying with the stock front end as well. My suggestion would be...if you are just looking for performance...stick with the stock front end and learn it well. There are a lot of little tricks to learn that make it work better. But if you are like me and like to tinker just for the sake of tinkering then by all means try another front end.

Jason said that it'd be 2 weeks before the chassis' are ready 3 or 4 days ago. I would guess it's going to be a little while longer. Maybe he wants to post pic's of the production chassis and not the test mule.
