Yeah I tried that on all the cases and there still seems to be a high spot when I spin them

Thanks
I've run into this with gear diffs in 4 gear and its usually due to me over tightening the screws in the diff.

I had to take a rear drive shaft off another car to make this one work. I had a 99 on a Desc210 and used it. The other car had a gear diff, so the 96 shaft off the Dest worked fine on it. I finally got the Dest210 acting right and found out my layshaft spacer I modified was not working right, and I just happened to have a spare. I will have to put this car on hold till I pick up some more electronics for it.

Did you use the 099 seal on it, the one that replaces the x seal?

I have a few questions...... First, if you are still running the gear diff what wt fluid are you running?? I read somewhere 5000? How are you keeping it in? Mine was empty when I took it apart with the oil ever where but inside. I thought I read back in this thread that guys were only using Associated black grease?? Inside the diff itself? I have a ball diff but have not tried it yet, the gear seems to be working fine. Also I run on a indoor high bite clay track, about 40x80, and I'm running a 13.5. Speeds are good so no issues with gearing. I broke one of the inside axle holders so when I pulled the tranny to fix I figured I would go through it and make sure all is good. Also, I was trying to replace the seals behind the gears at the outdrives but I can't get them off to replace. How do you remove them?? Anyone have a blow up of the gear diff?? That may help.
Thanks.......

Use grease on the seal , and use TDR330099 seal. The X-ring seals leak badly, so be sure to use the 099 seal. I hope to have mine running next week as I just ordered some electronics for it.

Can someone tell me where to buy a new body? Preferably an RTR body.

If you want a prepainted RTR body your best option is eBay. Otherwise Tower has the clear body in stock.

And even Tower's are "order pending" (back ordered)

Default Locking hubs?

I've seen these Exotek locking hubs listed for The Desc210. Anyone know if they will work for the Dest210?

Anyone know of any bodies that will fit other than the apparently unavailable DEST210 body?

I interchange stock wheel hexes between the two trucks. They both use the same 15 mm hexes.
