But for the answer you are after yes it will survive the majority of the crashes without bending until you hit a wall at full speed with a high powered motor.

they will fit your car
they will bend
they will look nice
they are heavier
they will mark up when damaged
they will not make you go quicker though

anyone know which matherial are the stock evo5 knuckles, im trying to reinforce them with a very stiff glue but the special glue for plastics that i have doesnt stick to them...

well got one in mine from the evo 4 i had changed ring gear to match output pinion & little bit of spacing out with shims either side & it sounds grand

well i picked up my 2nd Evo 5 yesterday and started building it last night....i really really like this car
humble beginnings...
my workspace...
coming together nicely...

ahhh....shock building...
voila....ready for electronics, which go on tonight!!!!

I've tested my Evo V last weekend, the car went very well with (almost) the standard setup. Had some small problems with the ball cups (they went loose), but after 2 batteries my front bevel was already destroyed, maybe after a hit.. or I just shimmed it not good enough. But I'm already faster with this car then my Mission 2, i really like this car
