I don't think the diffs are the same for the 415MSX and the EVO V. I have both kits and when I compared them they didn't look the same....can anybody else comment on this...???

Evo5 and MSX diffs have different outdrive lengths, so they aren't interchangable.

Parts needed.

TAM51256 Evo5 Ball diff ring gear
TAM53890 Tamiya Y-Parts
TAM9949300 Ball Thrust bearing
TAM9949299 Diff Spring
TAM50880 Diff plate
TAM53030 850 Ball bearing (x2)
TAM9808068 Evo5 Alu Diff joints
TAM9804246 5x0.5mm Spacer
TAM9949350 2mm Lock nut

And 8x 3mm Diff Balls

it's only the diff joints that we need to find. I looked about everywere and I can't find them.

Hey have any of you guys noticed that your chassis isn't flat..??? I have a chassis from a new kit I just purchased and it is twisted. I was just wondering if anyone else has this problem???

You know, I was wondering when after I placed the Evo V onto my setup board and blocks that the chassis was tweaked?!?!?!?

It's fine now but, maybe it was twisted to begin with?

Sadly this does happen with the CF grade USUALLY used in RC kits from OEM. Its alo common for standard grade to take a tweak after its first few hits and remain tweaked. Best bet is to hold it down on a perfectly level surface plate and tighten all the screws. After every big hit-loosen and redo.

I am NOT saying all oem chassis do this-but that it DOES happen.

just got my evo5, nice. just a question, can i install the ball diff in front instead of front 1 way unit? prefer to have both front and end using ball diff.
