Check out the Hyper SSe Truggy over @ Nitrohouse
Not RTR but easier than a kit. I've had the buggy version and it has been very durable for me.

The talion is pretty dang durable. My son and I have been bashing the mess out if it. It handles pretty well too. It's a great truck for the money

Just posted on this site for an ET48.3 Truggy purchase
$479 and $5 shipping.
MUST use link above and need 3 more.
This is not my site. I am in the market for a Truggy as well and this looks like a deal but takes at least 2 purchasers for the $499.

For example, Tekno's wonderful truggy is $479 plus free shipping on Massdrop.
As an example Towerhobies everyday price is $509 with free shipping. But if you look on the front page for towers coupons there is a $49 coupon on purchases $449 and over, making the out-the-door price $460.97 with free shipping. If you spend more the coupons get bigger. Tower has been doing this for years and years not likely to stop anytime soon.
I have not looked around to see if this is the cheapest around, just saying you can generally rely on Massdrop to be just about the most expensive place around.
sorry for the TL;DR post

Massdrop is cool, I often see products there I haven't seen before... However I've never bought anything there because it's always cheaper elsewhere.

the Tekno et48.3 today is $549.96 swear it was $509 yesterday maybe I was dreaming...
still that makes it cheaper than massdrop
$549.96 minus $60 tower coupon makes out-the-door $489.96

Lol I've had that happen to me before, it may well have been at that price and it's gone back up again.

you may want to consider an HPI Savage, if you swap out the monster truck tires for truggy tires, that'll be a sick, sturdy, tough as nails truck you can beat the snot out of all day long. Did this in the nitro version bout 10yrs back. That thing was a blast. JMO.
Look into the truggy Flux too form HPI. It's not bad, guy runs one at the track, does well too.
