Car really needs just a few things to be really competitive. Possibly a laydown tranny, ball diff and better tranny gears that actually don't wear. I mean you make gears for the D413 that don't wear out quick so why can't you fix the D216. I really liked this car as its so easy to work on and overall was an excellent working buggy for me but could of been better and more support from HB would be nice but they seem to disappeared.

Finally talked to them. They are on-line and they allowed me to order parts direct from them. You might grab another..lol. in addition, exotek came out with some new mods for it. Amain has em.

That's cool. I ended getting a new Serpent 2wd buggy, a 2wd SC (used) and their new 1/8th buggy that just came out. My friend and his son run for Serpent and Chicky is always available for help so I switched. I race a lot with my friend so it is smart to run the same stuff as they do so we can trade setups and parts. Still sucks as the D216 is the first car I have liked in awhile. Til that time only other 2wd I have ever really like was my B5M and my Tamiya TRF201.

That's beyond stupid if someone picks up something else. That's a great deal for these.

Until absolute hobbyz gets stock in for the d216 you'll be hard pressed to find one in the US.

Why not order from ANSWER-RC in the UK?

HB204039 is the part number.

I just placed an order from Answer rc and the shipping is cheaper than usa-canada........ hahaha

or order direct from exotek.......
