hey you guys I just noticed that the LW tranny comes with spurs 53T and 59T and 21T and 27Tpinions, but on the towers list it says that it should come with 54T and 60T and the gears I counted 22T and 28T, so thats what I ordered as replacement parts to have in stock... The problem is that a pebble kinda hit the corner of my 59 spur, so I replaced both spurs, but instead now I have 54T and 60T spurs with 21T and 27T pinions... How is this going to affect my speed? Has anyone tried this set up?

should give you a bit more top end
but seeing as it's only a one tooth change on the spur I doubt it will be very noticable.

Since you dropped a tooth on the pinions you're gonna get a lil more acceleration offline.

small pinion+large spur=more acceleration
large pinion+smaller spur=more top end speed

you went up one tooth on the spur you will get more top end in the order of 1mph or so.
the 1 tooth difference won't be all that noticable although you may have to adjust your shift point.

FastHarry, AMG, or Rapid Roy - I was looking over my rear link and I noticed that it binds up on the rear sway bar as the rear end is raised. I saw Hara's set-up sheet and he does use the bottom most link mount as you have yours (and mine) set to. You have an upgraded rear sway mount but mine is the stock one.

It doesnt make any sense to me to use this mount position so I will move my rear link up so that it doesnt make contact with the rear sway bar. Do you guys see what I am talking about? Any comments on how you would set this up? If I understand roll center correctly, if I do move this UP, in effect I am RAISING the roll center which will INCREASE the amount of roll in the rear. Comments please.

Klander- Up or down a tooth on the pinion overall will make more of a difference in the gear ratio compared to the spur gear.

Yep - A one tooth increase in a 20T gear is a 5% change, while a one tooth change in a 60T spur is a < 2% change.

Hey jag, any tips how to get this lola body lined up perfectly? Gonna take out the antennae and fuel tank cord out, but I only have red paint for it. I guess I'll leave it for a while and get more paint.
