Default some help with setup

hey guys just wanting to know if i can get some help with set up ?

i am racing on a medium sized track withlots of tight turns and short straights
i guess traction is medium, the trackis the size of 2 tennis courts

my setup front:
+1 toe out, droop set to zero. track set to 199mm
-2.5 camber
front spool
shocks on low position with silver springs
37shore zac tyres
castor clips to the back
sway bar is set to in between flat and horizontal

rear:
toe in -3. track set to 200mm
10000wt diff oil
black springs. droop set to 3 on droop blocks
silver swaybar, camber set to -3
37 shore zac tyre

the car feels to have heaps of steering, very low rear grip and wandery in the straight. the rear end slides out on power. im uisng the os 5 port tz. im actually thinking of going down a tooth on both spur gears.

for those in australia i was trying to use that setup in the fairy meadow track wollongong.

i have also lowered the rear roll centre by turning the stock clips around.

the restof the cars setup is standard

Reduce your rear diff oil to 5,000 wt., remove the blue spacer under the camber link and use the softer rear spring (silver). Use the stock rear sway bar (black) and mount the rear shocks in the #3 position. For the front: Use the stock springs (black) for the shocks, in the 2.5 position on the tower. Reduce you front camber to 1.5mm. Use a 60 front / 40 rear split in shock oil wt.. This should plant the rear end and settle down the front end. Good luck!

AndyT,
Did you read his post? He's not running at the Winter Nats. He's got too much steering and not enough rear traction.

He was asking for a setup for Fairy Meadow....the info i posted is what some of the quickest guys in Australia are using at that particular track......it just so happens that the Winternats is the last time they raced there.

How long ago was that AND what was the rest of their set-up? This is very important info. that you're not including. If, it was last year or a different season (weather change) then the set-up probably isn't usable. Depending on the rest of their set-up, it might not be usable at all. SILVER front springs which are softer than the stock springs and 35 wt. which is also, softer than the stock oil won't help.

That spring/oil setup was run 6 months ago at that track. I agree conditions have changed, but its handy to have something as a guide/reference (thats been used and 'A' finalled on that particular track)to get started and work on an ideal setup from there.
Cheers

This is exactly what I had in mind when I posted my suggestions.
