What I do is use camber ball end (One useed on shock towers)on steering rack arm with screw coming from top of the steering arm to attach, I then use the short ball stud on servo horn and there is pleanty of clearance.

One gold Losi washer on the top deck under each side of the steering rack. One under the post on the non servo saver side, and one under the servo saver. I just pulled the top deck off, took off the steering rack and put the washers in place over the screws and tightened it back down. The thickness of the washer was enough to take the drag out. I had done it on my first one when I saw it leaving marks and literally catching as it passed the outside edges turning left or right. Now I have a good 1/32" clearance at least. There is enough thread on the screws that come up from the bottom side that I didn't have to use longer ones. Funny how 2 little washers fixed a major steering issue.

John Lee is one of the best Drivers in the country and should be touring around the world representin' the US......... Losi is very lucky to have such a great wheel and we're very lucky to have him race with us at our local tracks, and let's not forget the valuable input he gives us on a daily basis!

I think Kwikvdub lost his mind cuz he got out qualified by me for less than 0.5 sec then got served on A main after he crashed horribly on first lap in last sunday.ahahha .....so race up at Jackson this weekkend or what ?

I run 2 gold washers under belkranks. then 2 washers under hub carrier ballstuds when I run LOW ROLL CENTER, 1 washer on MID ROLL center then no washers on HIGH ROLL center. all under 4deg total Castor.

It was mentioned earlier that the outdrive would suffer under a full locked spool setup cause they are designed for a diff or slipper spool application. It is considerably more likely that you will damage parts period with a full locked spool over any other type of front diff design. This reality applies to all chassis.
I think John's simple mod is the easiest way to solve the problem if you are having lots of failures.

Something like a high tension servo saver on each drive output would be a neat idea in theory.

Or you all could run the stock spool like Haynes Schreff and I did for many years and won countless races without issue.
