With heat like that you will need to make sure to update to the latest version 180 and adjust timing to around 10-12 degrees. That's if you are running mod with it.

If you don't have the Hotwire yet hopefully someone at your track can update it for you in a few minutes.

Good luck!

Stnlst is reffering to MO and a few others. Mo's a team driver and has his dialed! I plan on attending this race as does Jim himself if anyone should need support. I should have my laptop also to update anyone's esc's.

Got a chance to run the RS today and it performed flawlessly with my Speed Passion 13.5. Adjustments work well to tune to one's driving style and I didn't have a problem at all with heat. No big heatsink, no big fan like other speedos.

Capacitor? This really affects footprint. Especially for the SP 2.5R I plan to run.
We'll see. Excited though.
