I answered you on Fbook already but yea don’t need much. I’ve been driving it for months haven’t broke anything. Drive line pins are thing that wears faster so maybe get spare center drive line or some extra pins to replace them.
Car is amazing drives better then anything I’ve driven.

Default Rear ride height

Hey guys just picked up a D817 v2 from a friend and I can’t seem to get the rear ride height higher then 27mm. It’s on blue springs with 40wt oil and 5x1.5 pistons. The collars are maxed out to the point where if I turn it anymore the collar will be off the thread and floating on the shock body. Everything has checked out to be perfect on my rebuild. Shocks are the right length and everything is where it should be, so I have no idea what’s wrong. All I wanted to achieve was one of David Ronnefalk’s setups set at 28mm rear height.

Any help would be great!

maybe wrong springs on rear? Maybe wrong shock shafts in shocks?
do you have small tower on it?
maybe you don’t have the longer shock shaft ends on ?

I think I may have figured it out! The HB driver installed the wrong shock ends on the shock. Mine read 20mm when they should be 25mm. Hopefully once I get them it solves the issue!

thanks for help guys!

Default Low tower mod

Anyone that ran this or is familiar with the the short tower mod did they run the rear shock shafts with the front truggy bodies? They look to be to long and would hit the inside of the cap on the downstroke .

I know it's old... Use the long shock shaft ends, not the short.
