Hotbodies D817 Nitro thread
#691

Do you know if there are any other manufacturers cvds' or driveshafts that fit the MP9? I am looking for other Manufacturers cvd kits or driveshafts from other manufacturers that fit the MP9 wheel axles. I heard associated shafts fit the kyosho? or maybe the hot bodies fit?REPLY
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I might want to?
Ohh cool, thanks MacGyver, so a lot of seasoned guys have run most of the platforms and know what's interchangeable and what's not.... so that means posting in multiple threads is what you want to do. Don't limit yourself! well i shouldn't even state the obvious that i posted in Kyosho threads..
So I take it that you don't have an answer to the question?

Is this normal when running the 3 dot b plate?

Can one of you HB gurus kindly measure in mm the length of an 817 or 815 wheel driveshaft or let me know what it is? Thanks

Does anyone know if the D819 transmission conversation really works? I've been looking at it and it looks essentially the same thing as what it has now just more parts. All it is 2 pieces with a pin and a set crew with smaller bearings. How does this free up the driveline?

there is no set screw. but I also don't really feel any difference. I bought only because I need to replace the front drive shaft so figured I would do the upgrade. I wasn't too thrilled with the small bearings, as the original setup had nice big bearings that last forever.
