Josh- Did you ever post your TC3 setup/tires that you ran at the Birds last year? I was there and seen you had some handmade parts on your car, the shock towers and the center brace were most notable. The Birds are comin up again... im still runnin the TC3 and was hoping for a little input. I just received a shipment of tires... Jaco Orange/Purple and Purple 28mm for the rear... any other suggestions i know are going to be hard because the track isnt permanent... but could you could suggest other tires if the track goes one way or another? I have decided on 19t class. I havent been on the rug since the Birds... been playin in the dirt with my B4... so any help would be appreciated.

DaveW - Last year I ran TRC Cyan fronts and TRC Tan rears. This year I am 99% sure I will be on Jaco Double Pink/Orange fronts and Jaco Double Pink rears. These tires have been by far the best tires I have tried this year!!

ProParts - You've got mail!!

JoshR 85 - I've sent out my entries for the Snowbirds as well as the Novak Race today! I forgot to grab the form for the Ft. Myers gas race so I have to do that one tommorow!!

The Jaco double pinks have an orange strip on the outside? Basically I just want clarification on the double pink fronts. The Jaco website lists them as just double pink not /orange.

I will say that i know sponsored drivers can/will have tires made for them. I knew a driver that was sponsored by BSR for oval and had three compound single tires made for him at specific races. This was the biggest reason i asked about the compounds used, sometimes team drivers get things we cant to make it better for them. Not that we could do as good as team drivers if we had them or anything! But i DO know that in TC, tire selection is 90% of the setup! (as well as any other class of racing for that matter...)

Isaac Josh can probably give you the part #s, I can't cause I threw my boxes away, but to answer your Q- the double pinks and the double pink/oranges are different. The double pink is solid all the way across and the double pink/orange has the orange strip around the outside. It's the same as plaids and purples but double pink instead of purple.

Greg - Mod foam and whatever the class is that the other "pro" guys are going to race - stock foam or 19t foam...

Dave & Isaac - Jaco does make a Double Pink/Orange front tire even though it's not on the web site. The part # is JAC2160. We do test different compounds and tire combinations from time to time but I know 99% of the time we do run what's on the shelf.
