Damn Eddie
Over a year and all these post and still no br00d website where we can look at your product line. Have you perfected the Power Trix?? I read in one of your earlier post that they were a warranty nightmare and were no longer offered then toward the end (correct me if I am wrong) I see you are offering them again? So when can we expect to see a current up todate website showing us your product line??
Thank you for agreeing with me, it is much appreciated

#1239
itll be fine
Hey dude im sure a Team Br00d website will be hear some time soon . Well hopefully .
1 question while im hear. i got my first Team Br00d pro stock recently. And it had 2 purple springs. what do purple spring equate to it was on both + and - sides. at my local track u need a mix of both torque and revs to be fast. what springs should i bee looking at to maximise my motors performance

My Team Br00d 19 turn is qualified 4th right now at the 6th annual Speedworld cup. One more round of qualifying tomorrow and then triple A mains. I have it tuned just like perter had his at the Reedy race. I have played with brushes here and there and I really like the 4499's a hair better than the 767's. The 767's last longer though (IMO)

I have a few of the V2 Brood motors. I am running older sprint brushes with stiff springs. My question is:
What final gear ratio should I be at for small/medium outdoor asphault with:
7x1 or 8x2?
Also, I'm at 18 degrees, is that about right?
Lastly, I'm still using 3300s.

Tucker, I know its been a while and still no website.....I've been through 3 developers and am now on my fourth....guess I have just not had much luck finding one who could get the job done. The current guy is almost finished, so we should see something soon....
As for the Powertrix...we've been playing with them and have found some new stuff out. I still think they were a warranty nightmare, and probably still are....but without Big Jim doing them (his balancer is broke), I am kinda getting flooded with requests for them. I will probably have to be not so forgiving on the warranty on them....but I think they will be ok. We still have a little bit of testing to do and then we will release them....
Dimo, you may try going to a Purple/Red setup, maybe even a Red/Red....just depends on the track....
Mr Jolly, a C2 arm will fit in a Reedy Quad can....but I dunno if it will run very well....probably won't square up in the can very well, so the magnetic field will end up a bit off. Yer better off getting replacement machine wound arms, or having me handwind something....either 19 AWG or 18.5 AWG (like 5% more power)...
As for the for what the best mod is.....I like them all. They all have stuff that makes each a good motor.....I guess if I had to pick one, it would be the Ti.....it is a 5 year old design that is still winning major races...the cobalt is a serious contender though, especially in high heat or humidity races....the new Epic Shock will be a major player here soon when its released....
Edseb, I would think 18 degrees may be too much for most tracks...we usually stick around 12-14....Peter will have to help you with the gearing, as I am not, nor have ever been very good with it....

Team Br00d takes 3rd place overall at the 6th annual Speedworld Cup. Barry Baker got lucky in the 3rd AAA main....LOL Congrats to his 2nd place finish. I was also ruuning Team Br00d 3300's. They had plenty of punch and more than excellent runtime. Thanks again Eddie for getting the brush order out to me.
