for brakes, there is a tip from mike swauger:
use one of the pad black(stock), and the other one yellow(teflon)

for rear shafts, i use dogbones and put one susp. o ring to the diff side. no problem at all.

any configuration work better than the other black-inside, yellow-outside or vise-versa?

Anyone try the MBX6 pads yet? the pre mounted type? They almost look like the kyosho APP pads.
From what I have read the Kyosho pads are supposed to work really well.
I am going to give the MBX6 pads a try.

orings in the diff cups should be used as the hits usually comes from the wheel
if no orings are available, fuel tubing can be used to your desired length

always use the shim spacer in before the wheel hexe, it will also help reduce
the chance of dogbone poping out

Hey Franci,
I found where I picked up the extra weight. My battery wire had broke internally to the Insulation so once I fixed it I covered the entire bttery with Glass tape;well I guess I got a little carried away with the tape and My battery wound up weighing 130 grams. Which is about 30 grams over without the tape. Right now in race fashion, I'm sitting at 1746 grams without the Ti screws I'll install them tonight if possible. This is with a mugen 4mm chassis. I'm not a weight fanatic I just like to keep the car in the lower half of the spektrum. When I started my car was around 1850 grams

i used them on the insides, near the diffs. you could use them both places if it doesnt bind it up. put them in, set your ride height and squish the susp to see.

I need a little advice. What aspect of the car can I change that will allow me to carry more speed thru a sweeper. I find myself lifting thru sweepers.

Pass you soon...

What weight rear diff fluid ? Try 50,000 in the rear, you can also limit the front droop.

What's up Ira,

I'm the one that left my truer at Leisure. I normally run 30k in the rear; I ran once with 100k in the front and 50k in the rear (toledo track) and to me my car would not rotate as well. But I'll will give it shot. I would like to come thru the sweeper without lifting but not full throttle. Don't get me wrong; some of it is just nerves. But I find the car pushes just a little if I don't lift.
That was first idea was to decrease front droop, the next thing I was going to try was more caster.

Maybe I should ask this question. What type of throttle are you suppose to use coming thru a sweeper???

Is this at the Toledo track? I have a realy good set-up for that track.

If you are talking about the Toledo track, it's all about the way you setup for the sweeper. You can go thru the sweeper with out lifting, but if you miss you will pay for it!!!

Later,
Ira

P.S. Is it cold there yet, shur is here.

Colder than a witches tit.

I would like to take a peek at your toledo setup.
I actually like the spool at toledo, But I want try a diff.
I think your right; It's all about how you setup before the sweeper. I watched Josh Cyrul he has mastered that sweeper. I believe the correct line is to start slightly high on the line cut the sweeper tight (just missing that inside board) then slowly bend the rest of the sweeper to setup for the 180.

But you have to be man enough or sponsered enough to take that sweeper that tight
