This should solve a lot of issues as far as the 2 speed is concerned. This was a rather serious issue gald to see a remedy. I was not the first to suffer from it but it haunted me more than once.

Default Two Speed

Is this a revised design or a new compound?

From redrc it looks like they have just revised the balls, 4mm balls from 3mm for more stable shifting.

Guys,

if you think about your next upgrade, you should consider the new IDM clutch:

I used this clutch at the last race and I am totally amazed by it. It's tiny. The weight difference to the normal Mugen clutch is about 20 grams, which feels like a ton in acceleration.

Due to the hinged fly weights, it hit really hard if needed/wanted and it was absolutely consistent during the 30 min main.

I don't know if XS Power is importing them, but the sure ought to!

Default New Gears

Hello,

I thought I saw on here that the spur gears are made of a new material. I looked back a few pages and could not find it.

Does anyone know if the spur gears are made of a new material now? If so, are they a new part number or the same part number and just a running change?

Thanks

Hey Stefan,

Thank you.

Do you know if it is the same part number or different part number?

I bet people still get the 2nd gear broken syndrome even with the new spur gears.

you can strip a gear on any car if you don't understand why it happens and/or you drive like a mong

I heard there is a MTX4R prospec coming (possibly mtx4x) in time for the worlds. Anyone know any more?

I don't have it anymore because I figured out what was causing it.
