The Tornado i used was the "regular" blend.
I have been thinking that Byron is real good stuff but after 2 practice days with O'Donnel Race Blend 16% i have a different opinion. The engine ran much cooler with O'Donnel which resulted in a 15 minute leaning on the needle and more power!
No rust or other bad stuff in the engine either.
I will run O'Donnel in the near future

Default Centax Issues!!!!!

ok you G4 experts, I am having an issue with the centax clutch on my car. I was running it today with a MT12 engine on a very short track, for some reason it never felt like it was fully engaging. I was racing against a bunch on MTX-3's and it just seems that they were engaging some much harder and faster. one of the MTX-3's was running a MT12 too.

It was also causing the temps on my motor to go sky high.

Has anyone else experienced what I am talking about. If so, how was a fixed?

Try to find a guy named Daniz24 in this forum. He seems not having any single problem with the car, so it would have mean he have done eeverything corectly.

What is the purpose of putting a harder spring? Can't you just tigned the clutch nut up a little to make the spring stiffer?

Default Lightweight engine mounts

Do these K-Factory upgrades help keep your motor cooler than the ones that came with the E-class kit (orange ones)? Just wondering if they are worth the 12.90.

I don't think they're worth 12 dollars. They probably wouldn't cool off the engine much more than already, and the cg difference is good, but would only be noticeable by factory drivers. If you could find them cheaper, it might be a good pickup. btw, with my eclass there were blue engine mts

Kmac.... No, that wasn't me at Rev last sunday.... Was out of town that weekend... I am updating my steering system and I'll post pics of the work later this week... A very good friend saw the pics I posted of the bellcrank conversion here in this thread and told me he could put the Mugen MTX3 system in my G4.... Now you guys may think.. Ok..right... You guys all know me... I don't joke nor play with anything I say about the G4 or it's stock steering system... When the pics are ready, I'll post them... It's still a work in progress, but It should be all completed by this coming weekend. I'll post them on my webshots. com page and it's link when the pics are ready...

So no one else is having problems with their centax's ?
Do they make a softer clutch shoe?

How can the mugen clutch shoe fit? The G4 centax shoe is a much smaller circumference.
